My find on the left was tagged $1.99. The one on the right was $0.99. Then it was an additional 50% off since they were purple sticker items.
Last week, I found lots of stuff for $12.
Today, I spend $1.50 on 2 great pieces at Goodwill on Bay Road in Webster.
I didn't have much luck anywhere else, but these two pieces both had purple tags and it was 50% off purple tags today. I did find some chapter books for Nick, though, at the Salvation Army on Ridge Road in Irondequoit. I got him 2 Geronimo Stilton books, 2 Boxcar Children books, and Ramona and Her Mother all for $2.00. I loved the Ramona books a child and Nick loved Henry Huggins, so I am thinking he'll enjoy more Beverly Cleary books.
I followed up my trip to Goodwill with a visit to Earthtones, which is located in front of Goodwill. I have been craving a chai latte for a long time and decided to order their Vanilla Chai Latte. It really is the best chair latte around. Yum! My tall chai latte was $3.00 plus tax.
By the way, if you're at Earthtones, you need to try their Moose Crossings coffee. It's a blend of Kahlua and chocolate and is so good!
I spent under $7 this afternoon on some great bargains and had some peace & quiet, too!

I love Earthtones! I've never had the Chai Latte though. The next time I'm out there I'll be sure to try it!
I did go out and have a doughnut at Herman's though! The spice was so wonderful in it! Thanks for the recommendation. The best thing about that series is that I could get to each and every one if I wanted to!!!
Hi Karley, My Step Mom adores Milk Glass and has quite a collection. It is gorgeous and I'm considering starting a collection of Milk Glass or Jadite myself. I love vintage, retro pieces.
Earthtones sounds amazing. I wish I had one nearby. I'll have to check out their website. Have a great day! :)
Hi Jen S! So good to hear from you. I have been looking at some of the lovely jadite pieces on Etsy, too, because it is so pretty.
It is funny how something I viewed as ugly and "old lady-ish" as a teen is something I adore so much now.
Christine, isn't that donut GREAT? I have been so good--no donuts since Friday. I don't think I'll have anything other than Herman's again for a while.
I thought of you this AM, though, when Ben got a sour cream glazed at TH. I also have a Ben funny for you. He and I were talking about how different people have different garbage collection days (I know, great topic :) and he asked me, "What day does Christine have garbage day. I always wondered if Emma looks out her window on Tuesdays, too."
Ooh I LOVE milk glass!! What great finds and at such an amazing price! Lucky!!
Ha ha!!!
Well tell Mr Ben that I have garbage pickup on Monday (which is great after weekend cleanup!) And that Emma, does, in fact, look out the window on Tuesdays!
We'll have to get those two together for another play date! Her dino love has increased so they should have lots to talk about!
